One of the best ways to learn more about Benedictine and Saint Gertrude is to spend some time with us. Register for an event and visit our campus to learn more about how our single-sex schools thrive side-by-side, cultivating in our students lifelong achievement, strong faith and lasting bonds. We look forward to meeting you!

  • Attend Visitors' Day - BCP

    Friday, November 13
    8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
    (8th Graders Only)
    If you are interested in the camaraderie developed at Benedictine, we invite you to join us for Visitors' Day. Eighth graders can visit with other prospective students to get a sense of the BCP brotherhood and immerse oneself in the proud traditions of a Cadet. 
    In addition to visiting classes, you will learn about our:
    -Academic class offerings
    -Military activities
    -Fine arts and band activities
    -Theology
    -Leadership
    -World languages
    -Athletics

    Lunch will be provided.  
    Attire:  Dress/khaki pants and a collared shirt — no jeans, shorts or flip flops.

  • Join Us for a Shadow Day - SGHS

    Are you a current 8th grader and ready to see what it's like to be a Saint Gertrude student? You will arrive at our Goochland campus between 7:00 and 7:15am, where you will meet your Saint Gertrude student ambassador. She will guide you through the day, starting with our school-wide daily Morning Gathering in the Great Hall. Then you will attend the first three class periods, meet our faculty and see for yourself how our college preparatory curriculum fosters intellectual curiosity, creative thinking, confident leadership and academic excellence. The visit will conclude at 10:45 a.m.

    Shadow days are a great way to see firsthand how Saint Gertrude prepares students for success in college, and beyond, and to experience some of the rich traditions that make our school community so vibrant and welcoming. Please join us to experience the school day as our students do!

  • Schedule a Tour

    We invite you to tour Saint Gertrude High School or Benedictine College Preparatory with a member of our admissions team.
    Your visit is a chance to see our campuses and experience what makes our schools distinctive, including our educational philosophy, our single-sex approach to Catholic education, and our leadership development programs.
