September 21, 2023 - An annual event open to all Saint Gertrude alumnae 21+ to reconnect and come together on campus for a very special evening. Register today!

October 6, 2023 - A benefit to raise funds for BSoR’s new Conservation & Hunt program, which introduces students to new activities such as fishing and hiking and proper sportsmanship. Sponsors participate in an upland bird hunt during the day, with both communities “gathering” for an after-party which includes a pig and oyster roast, bonfire, and live band. Register today!

October 7, 2023 - Our annual BSoR homecoming invites all BCP and SGHS alumni to return to campus to tailgate and cheer on the Cadet football team! Tailgate tents for each class are available for those classes celebrating a reunion, whether it’s five years or 45.

November 1, 2023 - Held annually, former Cadets, Gators, faculty, and staff known to have passed away since our last memorial mass are remembered by name during the Intercessions of a special memorial Mass. Please register if you plan to attend.

December 8, 2023 - On this Holy Day of Obligation, we encourage our BSoR families, past and present, to join us for a special Mass to celebrate the Blessed Mother. Please register if you plan to attend.

November 17-18, 2023: The Stuart Avenue Players presents our fall 2023 play, The Play That Goes Wrong - High School Edition! Get out your detective hats and join us as we try to solve the mystery of who killed Charles Haversham! Dun dun dun....! 

December 27-29, 2023 - We are excited to host the 2023 BSoR Capital City Classic, sponsored by Crystal Springs. Held annually, the tournament will run from Wednesday, December 27 through Friday, December 29, 2023. The Gathering (alumni only event) kicks off the first night of the tournament, and BSoR community members are invited to celebrate the festivities in the Frances-Clarke Hyman Skybox prior to the first SGHS and BCP games of the tournament.

The 2024 East Coast Catholic Classic will take place January 5-6, 2024, at Benedictine College Preparatory in Richmond, Virginia. All Catholic Schools with wrestling programs are invited to participate in this tournament. Wrestling will take place in the state-of-the-art McMurtrie-Reynolds Pavilion on the Benedictine Schools of Richmond campus (12829 River Road, Richmond, Virginia 23238). February 7, 2024 - The Day of Giving is held each February to raise money for Parater Middle-Class Scholarships, which make attending a superb Catholic high school affordable for middle-class families. That single day’s activities, and the generosity that accompanies it, are the sole means by which these scholarships are funded. Make a gift today.

March 15, 2024 - A Saint Gertrude tradition of more than 70 years, Song Contest is a musical competition among the four classes. March 2, 2024 - A benefit to raise funds for young women who dream of a Saint Gertrude education but whose families need tuition assistance. This fundraising gala features a silent and live auction, a paddle raise, and a tuition raffle and is a way for alumnae and current parents to connect. May 4, 2024 - The Boxing Smoker is a benefit to raise funds for a specified endowed scholarship to help a future Cadet attend Benedictine.
