  • How can I learn more about financial aid?

We recognize independent school tuition can feel prohibitive to many families but know that we are committed to making a BSoR education as affordable and accessible to as many families as possible. Over 65% of BSoR students receive some form of tuition assistance. You can learn more about financial aid and merit scholarships on our Affording BSoR page or you can reach out to our admissions office directly at admissions@benedictineschools.org.
  • Will applying for tuition assistance have an effect on the admissions decision for my child?

No. All admissions decisions are made without regard to financial status, and we encourage students from all financial backgrounds to apply. With our robust tuition assistance program, we hope to make a BSoR education as affordable as possible. For more information about financial aid and scholarships, visit Affording BSoR.
  • Are there any assessments required for admission?

  • How do I schedule a tour of campus?

We’d love to have you on campus to explore our campus and even meet a few teachers and students. Schedule a personal tour with someone from our admissions team today!
  • How can I prepare for the personal interview?

Don’t stress about the interview. The personal interview is simply a conversation where our admissions team wants to get the applicant better. Applicants will be asked several questions regarding their applications and their interest in our schools. This is also a great opportunity for applicants to ask us questions. The interview is informal and relaxed; it’s simply a way for us to get to know each other better
  • When will I find out if my child has been accepted to BSoR?

The first round of acceptances are sent the first week of March. However, after the initial application deadline in January, we will continue to accept applications and issue admissions acceptances on a rolling basis, as space is available.
  • What schools do BSoR students come from?

BSoR students matriculate from a variety of schools and areas across Central Virginia. A vast majority come from the local parochial schools and public middle schools; however, some students transfer from other private schools.
