After diplomas were presented to the graduates, Class President Sean Marshall initiated the ceremonial spinning of the plate.

The Class of 2026 consists of 62 Cadets who were accepted into 86 different colleges and universities, including University of Notre Dame, University of Virginia, Virginia Military Institute, and William & Mary. Congratulations, Class of 2026!

2026 Commencement Speaker: Thomas Lukish '76

A 1976 graduate of Benedictine College Prep, Tom Lukish is a former student-athlete, parent, employee, and lifelong supporter of the school. As a Cadet, he competed in both basketball and baseball, earning three state titles and two tournament MVP honors on the hardwood, and helping lead BCP to its first "B-Triple C" championship in 1975.

A two-time First Team All-Metro pitcher, Tom went on to play baseball at the University of Houston before representing Team USA at the 1978 World Games in Italy, where his squad earned a silver medal. He was later drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays and spent five years in professional baseball.

After a 30-year career as an insurance executive, Tom retired in 2020. He is the proud father of Tommy, Benedictine Class of 2009, and Katie, Saint Gertrude Class of 2011. He and his wife, Maureen, who now share ten grandchildren, spend their free time golfing on the Grand Strand in South Carolina.
