SGHS Basketball - Varsity
2025 - 2026The Gator Varsity Basketball team competes in the League of Independent Schools Conference and VISAA. They also compete against many area public schools. Saint Gertrude has a strong tradition of great basketball. The Gator teams have won 7 LIS Championships, 10 State Catholic Championships, 3 State Independent Finals appearances and 1 State Independent Championship. The 2018-2019 team boasted one LIS first-team player and finished in the top 15 in the state poll. The team is coached by Robyn D'Onofrio.
